Packet Loss - 02/10/2010

You may have noticed during the past 20 minutes that some services were either slow or completley unresponsive if your service is on an IP begining 194.0.252. This was due to severe packet loss at the Kent Science Park. Our on call engineer was identified immeditley of the fault by our external monitoring services and raised the issue with the network engineers who quickly worked to resolve the issue. This incident will have mainly affected web hosting customers who are primarly on the 194.0.252.0 range however some dedicated server customers will have also notice the issue. We appologise for any inconvenience this may have cause and once we have a full incident report from the network engineers we will also pass this on to you. Services on the 91.212.182 or 91.216.93 range which should have been unaffected by this incident however if you are noticing any problems please raise a support ticket an one of our engineers will be happy to assist you promptly.
