UK Power Networks have advised us that they will be performing routine maintenance on all three of our 11kV grid supplies at our Maidstone facility during the window defined below. The work is not intended to be service affecting as our UPS and generator systems will take over to provide power however due to the nature of the work services should be considered at risk during the maintenance window.

Start Time: 07:00 on Saturday 01/06/13
Finish Time: 14:00 on Saturday 01/06/13

UK Power Networks have informed us that they will have engineers on-site and upstream at the local HV substations so if they do encounter any issues the most appropriate engineers will already be on-site to deal with them.

Due to the extended period during which grid power will be unavailable an additional generator will be deployed to add additional redundancy should one of the existing generators encounter any issues.

To add further reassurance all of the generators are routinely tested every 2 weeks for 4 hours each which includes running them under full load from all UPS and cooling systems via 5 independent ATS and UPS systems. The generators are suitable for continuous running and server days of fuel is held onsite with the ability to refule them whilst they are running.
